Colors & Crayons Early Learning Centre is an International Kindergarten offering a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage. We are committed to providing excellence in Early Childhood Education and believe that for your child to reach their full potential we must provide a playful, stimulating, creative and innovative environment where children become engaged and effective learners. The first years of any child provide the premise of their development, which is why we promise parents that your child will learn in a fun, warm and personalized education curriculum and this will build their confidence and boost their persona. At Colors & Crayons, we may only have your child for a few years, but we take long-term perspective and approach and see them as the future leaders and innovators. Colors & crayons has all the resources needed including highly qualified international curriculum teachers and the right tools needed to mould successful and well-rounded children.

There is an increasing focus on the importance of the pre-school years and a heightened awareness of the future impact that this exposure to education has on young children. We believe that attending pre-school helps children to develop school readiness through their exposure to different cognitive, self-awareness, academic and social skills. It is the first step in a lifelong learning process and the neurological pathways that are formed in these pivotal years will positively affect the children for the remainder of their lives. Each of our classes maintain a routine throughout the week that helps set the children up for success and provides them with stability during their time at Preschool. The class teachers guide the children over the course of their school year, thus ensuring they receive ongoing positive, caring relationships which support their learning in a school environment. We appreciate the uniqueness of each child. We respect their feelings and respond to their needs. We are patient and encourage independence, and help them control their behavior through the careful use of language. We pride ourselves on the academic ability of our children and the way in which they face challenges with enthusiasm and vigor. We teach them about the importance of self-expression and confidence. Our Educational Philosophy is of the upmost importance to us and provides a foundation for all of the activities we engage in with the children. We prefer holistic, structured, teacher-led exploration. We strive to achieve a careful balance between teacher directed tasks, which allow the children to explore their surroundings and learn about things in an exploratory and meaningful way, and child initiated learning. Children have boundless potential, and through providing children with an engaging, caring, safe and positive academic environment, we can help the students learn, develop and have fun in these crucial early stages of life.
